Zion Police warn of counterfeit money

The Zion Police Department have issued a crime alert regarding multiple instances of counterfeit bills being used at several local stores and restaurants. $5, $10 and $20 bills have been discovered. Though two arrests have been made, Police say incidents continue to be reported. The police are encouraging everyone to carefully scrutinize any currency they receive, especially local businesses.
